I have a full-time job and I may not have time to volunteer frequently. Can I still join?

FAQs on Silver Guardian
What is the commitment level that is required, and can I volunteer on weekdays or weekends only?
The volunteering hours at AACs are flexible, depending on your availability and schedule. Each volunteering session may range from 1 to 4 hours, and we encourage a minimum commitment of 6 months.
As most AACs operate on weekdays from 8.30am to 5.00pm, the volunteering hours are aligned with the centres’ operational hours.
To equip our volunteers for the volunteering role, Silver Guardians need to attend a half-day Foundational Training course that is conducted by AIC’s partner learning institutes. Upon completion of the training, our volunteers will be deployed to the AACs based on their preferences.
