Active Ageing Centres and Senior Care Centres

AAC, SSC Site Planning

We are expanding the reach of Active Ageing Centres (AAC) and Senior Care Centres (SCC) so that Seniors can be supported by an AAC / SCC near them.

To extend the reach of AACs/SCCs, we are actively seeking partners who may have suitable sites for conversion to AAC/SCC. These sites should meet the following criteria:

  • Currently owned or occupied by the provider*;
  • Currently not providing MOH-subvented AAC and/or SCC services;
  • Within close proximity to residential areas and community amenities;
  • Easily accessible by public transport;
  • Compliant with space usage requirements related to healthcare facilities;
  • Economically viable; and
  • Space size between 200 and 800sqm

*For sites leased from lease owners (e.g. HDB, SLA), provider must obtain permission from the site’s current supporting Ministry (e.g. MSF) before AIC can approve any site conversion.

If your organisation has experience operating AACs/SCCs and has secured a suitable site for conversion to an eldercare facility in the following areas, kindly contact us at site_planning@aic.sg to explore partnership opportunities.
