Whistleblowing Policy
Whistleblowing
AIC takes whistleblowing seriously and will review all reports and initiate an investigation where possible.
What not to report via AIC’s Whistleblowing Channel
- Feedback on Community Care services and partners that does not relate to wrongdoing committed by AIC staff and/or grants from AIC
For such feedback and concerns, please email to enquiries@aic.sg.
What to report via AIC’s Whistleblowing Channel
If you suspect an actual or possible misconduct by AIC staff, we encourage you to speak up and report it. Some examples of unethical situations include:
- Asset Misappropriation/Falsification and Financial Statement Fraud
- Corruption and Bribery
- Conflict of Interest
- Regulation Breaches
- Safety Issues
- Sexual Harassment
How to make a report
You may use any of the following channels to make a report:
Email: aic@tipoffs.com.sg
URL: https://singapore.deloitte-halo.com/AICwhistleblowing/
Phone: 800-492-2354
This service is confidential. You should provide as much information as possible to facilitate any subsequent action or investigation:
- Name(s) and designation(s) of employees involved
- Date and detailed description of the wrongdoing
- Any other pertinent information and/or supporting documents relevant to the case
Protection of whistleblower’s identity
The whistleblowing channels are managed by an independent third party and the whistleblower’s identity will be held in strictest confidence. Whistleblowers can choose to remain anonymous. However, we encourage whistleblowers to come forward and provide their names and contact numbers to facilitate investigations. While AIC recognises that information from an anonymous source is just as important to act upon, AIC’s ability to follow up on the report may be limited when we are unable to contact the whistleblower for the necessary details to commence investigation, where required.
Anonymous reports would be investigated only if there are sufficient accompanying facts and evidence.
AIC staff may continue to raise human resource related issues through existing internal staff reporting channels or approach the Human Resource Division for assistance.
