The Silver Snapshots Programme aims to provide seniors with opportunities to learn photography skills, engage in creative activities, and stay connected with their peers. The program will be led by a senior volunteer with extensive experience in photography and will cater to seniors of all skill levels.

The HAMIDA programme aims to alleviate stress, social isolation, and the sense of helplessness experienced by caregiving families who have care recipients with disabilities, special needs, or dementia.
You will serve as befrienders and self-care coaches, trained in art and music therapeutic activities, friendship support, and self-care coaching skills to engage caregivers and provide social connectedness and support.

This programme will train volunteers to produce handicraft items for nursing homes or community events. These could be seasonal craft items such as Christmas decorations, or art pieces such as Nagomi art paintings. Volunteers could also be deployed to set up community event booth such as balloon sculpturing and beadwork.

The Silver Friend Performers programme equips senior volunteers with musical performing skills such as ukulele, percussions and singing, and to form performing groups to entertain and reach out to residents of nursing homes, active ageing centres and at neighbourhood community events.
You will be engaged, enriched and enabled to serve the community through musical performing arts.

This programme will train volunteers on sewing and mending of clothes for residents of nursing homes or needy elderly in the community. Volunteers may be deployed to nursing homes or homes of needy elderly to carry out sewing or mending of clothes, or be given sewing and mending work to do at home..

Senior women volunteers meet and greet peers at the Centre to help them ease into activities. They also help to promote and educate walk-ins about the Society and programmes that can help them age well. The Slow Run group is made up of senior women who come together to take part in an exercise regimen designed to enhance cardiovascular health, increase strength, and improve flexibility in a fun and sustainable way. Slow Run originated in Japan and participants here meet weekly, reaping not only physical benefits but also experience overall improvement in their well-being.

Learning to make and donate angpow lanterns is a regular affair at WINGS. Volunteer leaders teach women to upcycle angpows and transform them into beautiful lanterns to bring cheer to residents in a nursing home. This activity brings together like-minded women who want to hone their creativity and skills and pay-it-forward in the Community while at the same time foster friendship among the participants.
