Use your hands-on skills to fix, mend, or improve items, bringing practical help to those in need.

To provide practical help to low income elderly in simple home improvement or repairs. This program recruit, train and deploy volunteers to perform simple wall painting, home electrical, plumbing or carpentry work.
You will get to interact and befriend the elderly residents and contribute to their successful ageing and ageing-in-place.

The use of wheelchairs as a mobility aids by seniors has grown exponentially due to the ageing society of Singapore. The commercial servicing and repair of wheelchairs can be expensive and lacking. This programme aims to recruit, train and deploy volunteers to carry out servicing and simple repair work. The volunteers will also be trained to befriend the wheelchair-bound seniors who are typically more socially isolated and lonely.

Join us as a Coach to help others learn useful skills on simple and common home repairs and empower them to acquire practical DIY (Do-It-Yourself) skills. As a volunteer coach, you will help to facilitate the Handyman Courses conducted by SL2 Impact.

National Repair Day happens on the last Sunday of every month. Trained coaches and new volunteers in our repair coach training programme will gather to guide the public in repairing their own items.

Repair Kampung Singapore's goal is to bring back the kampung spirit of "neighbours helping neighbours". Through this volunteer programme, you can help to support public events organised by RKgS and provide repair services like basic home repairs, wheelchair and bike repairs for the community.

Our therapeutic repair programme is targeted at improving elder activities associated with simple repairs and getting residents involved in these repairs. The learning and sharing of repair culture builds friendship, teaches new skills, enhances motor skills, maintains good cognitive psychology and improves mental health through innovatively diagnosing faults and creating solutions to repair them. Our program will run in active ageing centres and places where the elderly will gather.

Its outreach includes schools and the community, featuring a ""wheelchair experience"" where participants learn about wheelchair types, safe use, and empathy by simulating challenges faced by users. This programme promotes inclusivity while maintaining essential mobility equipment.
