Caregivers Training Grant (CTG)
Subsidises approved courses for caregivers to learn important skills to better care for their loved ones.

Introduction
The Caregivers Training Grant (CTG) makes approved training courses more affordable for caregivers to attend to pick up caregiving skills. You can choose from a range of courses that take place from home, online or in a classroom.
How to qualify
There are a few eligibility criteria to meet to qualify for CTG.
| Criteria | Description |
| Care recipient’s nationality | He/she must be a Singapore Citizen or PR. |
| Care recipient’s age and needs |
He/she must be aged 65 and older OR have a disability.
If your loved one has a disability
He/ she must:

(You will need to provide documentation that the care recipient is receiving the grant.) |
| Relationship with the caregiver | The caregiver (family member or domestic helper) must be the main person caring for the care recipient. |
| Completion of training | The caregiver must complete the course. |
How the grant works
Eligible care recipients will start with a CTG amount of $400 in the first year they tap on the grant. On 1 April each year, care recipients will receive a $200 top-up. The CTG balance from the previous financial year (1 April to 31 March) can be carried forward, with the total CTG amount capped at $400.
When caregivers attend approved courses, the course fees will be deducted from the care recipient’s CTG balance. For each course the caregiver attends, there is a co-payment of least $10*, depending on the CTG balance available.
*Some courses may allow you to tap on SkillsFuture Credit for co-payment.
