Eligible Schemes Enrolment (ESE)
A process to help you apply for long-term care financial support more easily.

Introduction
Eligible Schemes Enrolment (ESE) simplifies the application process for those applying for long-term care financial assistance schemes.
You can apply for eligible long-term care schemes without submitting application forms as long as you give your consent. Find out how this works.
Who is this service for
Anyone who wishes to benefit from the following long-term care financial assistance schemes that are part of the ESE process:
- CareShield Life
- ElderFund
- ElderShield
- Home Caregiving Grant (HCG)
- Interim Disability Assistance Programme for the Elderly (IDAPE)
How this process works
When undergoing a Severe Disability Assessment (SDA) as part of applying for any of the schemes above, you can:
- Inform the assessor that you are interested to apply for the other schemes in ESE
- Read and understand the terms and conditions.
- Provide your consent to be signed up for these schemes. Do note that consent can only be given by care recipients who:
- Are aged 21 years old and above
- Possess mental capacity to make decisions on their long-term care needs.
