The age-friendly ambassador programme aims to foster connection and community among seniors in the community and eldercare facilities through planned social activities. Our trained ambassadors will be able to organize inclusive events, promote cultural sensitivity, ensure safety, and enhance the well-being of seniors. Trained ambassadors will also be able to take on more training to learn how they can take on more specialized support to seniors supported by AACs and other eldercare facilities.

In Collaboration with Repair Kopitiam, the Community Care Ambassador programme connect volunteers with isolated or homebound seniors, offering companionship and emotional support. Volunteers receive comprehensive training, including active listening, communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and key dos and don'ts when entering beneficiaries' homes. Trained ambassadors will also be able to take on more training to learn how they can take on more specialized support to seniors ageing in the community.
